Today we went to the doctor for Rylee's 15 month check up! She is doing great and catching up just fine, no more Preemie here.

And she is still right at the 50 percentile!! YAY

She did have to get 2 shots and her flu booster, which is not fun. But she was a happy camper again before we even left the room in the doctors office. What a trooper!

We went to Florida for Rylee's first birthday and to celebrate my sister Andrea graduating college, it was a blast!! From Oct 2-9, we where play at Daytona Beach, wondering Disney World and the Magic Kingdom, and Epcot!!

It was Andrea and Rylee's first time at the beach and Keith, Andrea and Rylee's first time at Disney World! It was an amazing trip!! I can't wait to go again when Rylee is a little bigger.

Not just one, but two!! As of Monday Sept 13th, she had her first one and by the end of the week she had the second one, both bottom front teeth. Her right one was first, I can't believe it!! She looks so adorable with teeth!! Hopefully I will be able to snap a picture of her with her teeth showing and post it soon :)

Summer 2010 has brought 2 new babies into the world!! Both moms are best friends of mine, and the new additions are sure to be best friends of Rylee's too.

Lucas is the newest addition for Nicole and Jarrod, arriving in July! Such a sweet little guy, Aunt Heather is holding him here, I think he likes me, what do you think?

Alexandra, aka Alex, who arrived in June, to NEW parents, Sam and Kevin...so tickled to meet and spend a week with her and her mommy. Rylee and I really enjoyed the girl time!

4th of July, and Tennessee Trip!

We went to Tennessee for the 4th of July to spend time with Keith's family, it was a very nice trip, and of course it was not long enough, they never are. Rylee met her Aunt Sue, Grandma Faye, and Uncle Bill and Aunt Lynn, and cousins Crystal and Daniel for the first time. On our way home we stopped in Metropolis, IL to see the statue of Superman, it was a fun pit stop. We where back in town in time to watch the fireworks at Wilson Park, and I have to say they were amazing!! Rylee loved watching them too!

We suprised Keith, that day before Father's Day with one really BIG suprise, new pictures of Rylee. I few pictures I framed and wrapped in a t-shirt I bought him to wear for Father's Day, that says "King for a Day, Happy Father's Day 2010". I told him it was only for that One day, but he seems to like it, and wears it once a week...lol! Then on Sunday we had a few more small gifts for him and we went to lunch with my family at Olive Garden, to celebrate Father's Day with my Grandpa and my Uncle John too!

Adventure of the Seas

At the end of May Keith and I went on my Partylite trip and left Miss Rylee behind for the first time. She a wonderful week with her Grandma's, having fun! We went on the crusie of life time, sailing the seas and visiting Italy, France and Spain. Here are a few pictures from the trip.

Rylee's Red Hots~March of Dimes

We are happy to say that we raised $400 for the March of Dimes. We also took part in the walk that was held in Belleville, IL on Sat April 17th. We had a group of about 12 adults and 3 children, including Rylee, that walked with us that morning. We had some great weather for our walk too, and I am so excited and can't wait to share a team picture with you.

Thanks for all who was apart of the team and those that also donated to Rylee's Red Hots Team!! This shirt was given to Rylee at the walk, it says " I was a preemie, look at me now!"

Let the teething begin....UGH!

This has been a test for me I swear...I can handle a lot, I mean A LOT...but listening to your baby cry for 30 minutes or more when there is nothing more you can do to help her is really hard on me. I really just want to cry with her.

We actually went back to the Dr. on Monday April 26 to see if there was anything else wrong like an ear infection, but luckily there wasn't. Dr. said she couldn't find anything wrong with her and summed it up to being a combo of things, like a growth spurt and teething.

If you are a mother or father I know you have gone threw this. But gosh at one point, I actually told Keith this might be our ONLY child. Which will not happen I know we both want one more at least. But that is how bad it has been.

But things have been better ever since that Dr. visit, she is either not hurting to bad right now or is getting used to it. The bad thing is, there is still no tooth to be found......just come on with it already.

Rylee rolled over for the first time on Sunday April 18th, Keith and I both saw it and we even got it on video, which I will post soon.

6 month update.

We had our 6 month check-up on April 5th, and everything is going good. She is growing like a weed. Dr. says she is in the 25% for length and weight, and a little less for her head size, but nothing to worry about.

Rylee's stats:

Weight 15lbs 7oz
Head Circumference 16 1/4 inches

All in all she is doing great and right about where they want her to be. That preemie formula really does miracles. You wouldn't know by looking at her that she was a preemie now.

We also got the OK to start on jar food, and of course to start with veggies first then the fruits. We tried them for the first time about 3 days after the doc and she is loving everything so far. She has tried Green Beans, Squash, Carrots, Peas....but she loves her Sweet Potatoes the most!!

I have posted a few pictures of Rylee from her Valentines day photos shoot, I just love the one in the pink tu-tu!! It was a surprise for Daddy, which he really loved!

Keith surprised me with Disney on Ice tickets for a March show coming up and a new phone cover, and he also got Rylee a Baby Einstein CD, that I can't wait to listen too with her.

I had a pizza delivered to him on Friday at work from Imo's (in the shape of a heart) for a early Valentines gift to him. Then gave him a few framed pictures of baby girl to take to work and a neat frame to display in our hallway at home, which looks very nice.

On another note, Rylee is learning to laugh and coo on demand, or respond with smiles...we are loving it, and just eating it up!!! I will post a few pictures we have caught in the act soon.

Keith has been back at Missouri College for about 2 months now, and he is really liking it. He has also started taking classes so he can finish his bachelor degree, Finally!! He is a hard working man!!

I am working my Partylite Business at full speed ahead, and getting closer, and closer to earning the trip this year, which is a Mediterranean Cruise. I am always looking for more hostesses so let me know if you want any candles for free!

BIG Girl!

Since we have been home from the hospital we have had weekly nurse visits, where they check to make sure Rylee is gaining & growing. She had been gaining weight pretty steadily, about a pound a week. Our last visit with the nurse was the last week of Dec, weighting 8lbs 4oz.

Much to our surprise Keith took her to the doctor over the weekend for her RSV shot, and she weighted 10lbs 11oz, WOW!! We couldn't believe it!! On top of that, they didn't have enough medicine to give her they only expected her to be 8lbs. So our preemie, was to big and couldn't get her shot!! That is Hard to Believe!!

She has made a huge jump from coming home in Nov, weighting 4lbs 15oz until now! What a big Girl she is becoming and we are enjoying every minute of it.

Our First Holiday Season

Thanksgiving was wonderful, we didn't go anywhere (which was nice) we had food delivered to us from family, a few light visitors made for a great first holiday home.

In the middle of Dec we had some professional photo done with Rylee for Christmas, Newborn pictures and first family photos too, they turned out great!! I have posted a few, but there are much more and will be posting them soon.

With the holidays fast approaching the doctors release us to attend family functions so we went to a family Holiday party, and we went to family houses for Christmas and Christmas Eve. We had a wonderful first Christmas as a family!

Rylee got tons of cute stuff from grandma's and grandpa's, not to mention aunts and uncles, cousins, and family friends. Wow she's only a few weeks old and already has it all.

New Years at the Perigo's was quite, we had my mom and sister over for board games & to ring in the new year. All and all it was a fun evening at home surrounded by the best people ever, Family!

Coming Home 11/24

We got the greatest news ever on Sunday Nov 22, that we might have our Turkey home for Turkey day! Much to our shock...we had a lot to do...or at least I felt like it. So that Sunday was a wonderful day to say the least. We where told that Tuesday would be the discharge day if everything went well the next few days.

So we where asked to stay in a special room with Rylee overnight, at Children's to get a feel of how home would be. So we packed our bags for our first night stay with our baby girl. It was a glorious night, with no sleep (cause we where up with every peep) but I wouldn't change it for the world.

We brought our baby girl home 11/24, a long over due day, 7 1/2 weeks after Rylee's arrival in this world. But still 4 weeks earlier then expected!! WOW!

She's getting so big

So baby Rylee is starting to fill out more and more, she is now out of the isolette and in a big girl crib, he weight is now 4lbs 1oz, and she is beginning to feed from a bottle.

I can't believe how far she is coming, we still don't know when she is coming home, but we know it is getting close. Please keep sending her your wonderful prayers, god is great at answering them daily.

March of Dimes

I am so glad I have always given to this organization, they have really done a lot for us so far. I guess you just never know when you will need something like this.

Our Little Miracle

Rylee Jo Perigo, arrived Sat Oct 3rd at 9:58 pm, she was delivered by emergency C-Section. She weighted 2 lbs and 8 oz. and was 15.25 inches long. She was 12 weeks early, she just couldn't wait to meet mommy an daddy and all her loving family!

She is at Children's Hospital in the NICU area, and we she will probably be there for a few months, they have told us to except her to be there until her due date, which was 12/21.

We are so blessed to have her in our lives, & she is doing very good, taking breast milk, she is breathing on her own, and a little bit of a wiggle worm, with an attitude. :)

BIG Thank you to everyone that has been praying for her, she is our little miracle!!

Update of a few things

Well we are all registered, and we had fun doing it. We registered last weekend at Babies R us, and Target, there is tons of stuff we still need, and a ton of pink stuff to pick from.

We have also picked a spelling for our baby girl's name, Rylee Jo, is going be it. Thanks for all your help with picking and you thoughts on why. I think this spelling seems more girlie.

Rylee's room is almost done, we got our rocker glider put together yesterday, so I really will post some photo's soon, so you can see her room. It's is so cute!!

As far as me & baby girl, we are both doing good, I am getting the dreaded swelling, and did anyone know you can get carpal tunnel during pregnancy, well you can, and I got it! I am on the count down now too, only 14 weeks (98 days) to go!

Little Misses Room

We have begun the process making a nursery, it has been fun, even thou Keith has done most of the work. He has painted the walls pink & green, stained, cut & hug new base boards and a chair rail, changed all the outlets over and put in a dimmer light switch too. He has been busy, and he has done all this since last Friday! WOW, what a great handy husband, Thanks BABE!

I know that Little Miss is going to love it too. We have also put together all the furniture now, I will posting pics once it is all done. We still need to decorate and hang curtains, and a lot more, but the major stuff is DONE!

We plan on Registering Labor Day weekend (fun, fun), for items we need for little miss, and just and FYI, I believe the shower is going to be NOV 1st, so save the date!

Belly Boogy

Well miss little one is still moving all the time, it is so neat, she seem to be on a pretty good schedule, but sometimes she is not ready for bed when I am. Keith has got to feel her kick a few times, and my mom did too finally the other night.

My belly is growing and growing, I will put a new belly pic so you can all see.

Going to the Dr today, so will post more later about the appointment.

Fluttering!

On Sunday, I can finally say I felt the first flutter. I few weeks ago I felt like a gas bubble which could of been something too, but haven't felt anything else until Sunday. It was definitely a flutter, it felt like when you have butterflies in your stomach, it only lasted about 2 seconds, but I had no reason to have butterflies. So I know that is what it was. PLUS I have felt it a few more times since, it is amazing! I can't wait until Keith can feel her kick and move too.

Expecting a....

We went to the Dr. today and also had another ultrasound. Dr. said everything sound and measured good, she actually said I was measuring a week ahead, the baby is growing great. Also got to hear the heart rate again and it was very loud and fast. It is such a neat sound, and also very comforting.

Then we headed to the ultrasound appointment, which went very well. The ultrasound text got all the pictures he needed and we found out we where having a GIRL! We are both super excited about her arrival. So far the name we are going with is Rylee Jo!

New Ultrasound Picture

We had our second ultrasound on Friday July 10th, we where hoping that we would find out what we where having, but no such luck. We where a bit early when it comes to that, so we will try again in a few weeks. Although we did get a great new picture, which it really does look like a baby now!

Dr. Appointment #3

Yesterday July 2ND was our 3rd Dr. Appointment, and everything looks and sounds great! We heard the heart beat again, (so neat) which was about 145-150. When we where listening the Dr. said the baby moved. Ha Ha, already bothered by us :) Seem just like Keith and I already. The baby ended up moving on us 3 times, and the Dr. had to keep finding it again so we could listen.

The best news of all is that we have scheduled our ultrasound to find out the sex and it is next week July 10Th!! Yippee, it is a lot sooner then we thought, but the Dr. said I was 16 weeks when I was there yesterday, so I was also a week off (I thought I was 15 weeks), but either way Keith and I both,(not to mention everyone) can't wait to find out what we are having.

Father's Day & The Bump!

I think Keith enjoyed his first Father's Day, we just did a little something to celebrate it. I let him sleep in while I was up cleaning, and fixing breakfast for us. Then we went to hang out the rest of the day with my Grandpa and Grandma, and Mom, and ended the evening with a nice meal at Red Lobster, which we all LOVED and it was my moms treat :)

Above is the first picture of my little bump I have started to grow, this was taken Monday June 24th at 14 weeks. Finally in my 2nd Trimester and starting to show a little, I am getting tired of the, I just look like I put on weight stage. Next Dr. Appointment July 2nd.

Second Dr. Appointment

Yesterday was our second Dr. Appointment, and we got to hear the heartbeat. It was amazing!! Very cool experience for Keith and I. The baby's heart rate was 160, which the Dr. said was good, and she also said the baby is growing, just by feeling around on my tummy. My pregnancy is still just beginning, but I have enjoyed it so much so far. I have had no sickness, just being tired all the time, and my forgetfulness, but I think both of those are getting better. I am 11 weeks this week, and Monday starts 12 weeks. I will start taking profile tummy pictures probably in the next 2 weeks, so everyone can watch me grow. Nothing much has changed yet, my clothes are just starting to feel a little snug. I can't wait to start showing :)

First Dr. Appointment

Today was a big day, we had our first Dr. Appointment. We got to see the baby on the the ultrasound machine and saw the heartbeat too, and even got a picture to take home of our little Sweet Pea. Dr. says the baby looks healthy and has a healthy heartbeat. We also got a lot of questions answered, that both Keith and I had. I am 8 weeks and 1 day pregnant, and we have a due date of December 21!! Wow what a Christmas this will be.

My mom reminded me that Christmas seems to sneak up on us every year, but she thinks this year it will take forever to get here, and she's probably right!

Big News for The Perigo's!!!

We just found out 4/28/09 that there is going to be a little Perigo on the way! We are so excited and getting more and more excited each day. It is so fun to share the news with everyone. We have our first Dr. Appointment on Tues May 12 to find out if I am right about how far along I think we are. I think I am about 6-7 weeks so far. Which makes me due somewhere close to the week of Christmas. What a great Christmas Present for us!

Things are going pretty smooth for me so far, no sickness, but VERY, VERY TIRED all the time especially about the 2 o'clock hour each day at work. And I have something called "Mommy brain" or "Mommy amnesia" I can't remember a thing anymore. It makes me feel so silly, but it's apparently pretty common.

Happy 50th Anniversary Grandma & Grandpa

On April 19Th we Celebrated 50 years of Marriage with a Surprise party for my grandparents at Jerry's Cafeteria, in downtown Granite. It was a great afternoon with 50 of their closest friends and family. Everyone had a nice time with good food and good friends. It went off with a bang because they didn't suspect a thing, they were surprised to say the least.
