Big News for The Perigo's!!!

We just found out 4/28/09 that there is going to be a little Perigo on the way! We are so excited and getting more and more excited each day. It is so fun to share the news with everyone. We have our first Dr. Appointment on Tues May 12 to find out if I am right about how far along I think we are. I think I am about 6-7 weeks so far. Which makes me due somewhere close to the week of Christmas. What a great Christmas Present for us!

Things are going pretty smooth for me so far, no sickness, but VERY, VERY TIRED all the time especially about the 2 o'clock hour each day at work. And I have something called "Mommy brain" or "Mommy amnesia" I can't remember a thing anymore. It makes me feel so silly, but it's apparently pretty common.

  1. I am soooooo excited for you and Keith! I am excited to be a Grandma, too! I hope it stays that way for you, with no sickness. Get accustomed to the tiredness; you will be tired the rest of your life. If you think it is tiresome to carry around a baby the size of a blueberry, just wait until it is a year old and weighs 25 pounds! I have that amnesia issue too, but I delivered my baby 30 years ago. What do you think that means? I definitely won't forget that I have one more sweet pea to buy presents for this Christmas! :)

  5. I wasn't the first to know either, but I love the way I was surprised. . . personally, by Heather and Keith. Heather wanted each of her closest friends to be the first to know but preferred to tell them in person, if at all possible, so she could see their reaction. A personal delivery just took a little longer due to busy schedules and distance. She traveled all the way to Texas to tell Nicole, which I thought was very special. She didn't launch this blog or make an entry in "My Space" until Nicole was surprised. There are many people yet to receive the news, though God knows I've done by best to tell everyone I know. :)

  6. Well Deb I think you have been the best "Granny in Training" I know!!! Alexander really enjoys when you watch him....he even asked when it was going to happen again? He is a little worried he won't see as much of you once Lil Perigo comes. :) But I said that's okay you will have a little brother or sister to play with soon!!!!
